Welcome Home!

Congratulations on your new arrival!

Our Babies! Babies! Babies! Clinic provides services to infants who do not have a family doctor, premature infants, and infants in need of specialized services and follow-up.

If you do not have a family physician, we provide assessment of your "orphan" newborn within a week or so of discharge after birth.  This assessment ensures that your baby is feeding and growing well, has a normal examination, and that you are adjusting well as a parent.  Most "orphan" infants are healthy, and are discharged to follow-up with our local health unit and medical clinic facilities until they  are able to find a family doctor for ongoing primary care.

However sometimes follow-up appointments are necessary for "orphan" infants who have ongoing medical problems at the first appointment. These infants will continue to receive care based on the findings from their first visit, until those issues have resolved.

If your infant was premature at birth, we provide specialized services not generally available through your family physician, including RSV prevention and some of the medical services available at the Special Infant Clinic of the tertiary hospital where your infant was cared for.  This clinic does not replace the need for ongoing primary care from your family physician, and we provide a report to your family physician after your infant has received medical services at our Babies! Babies! Babies! Clinic.

We also provide circumcision to male infants on request.
