1) Consultation for Medical Problems |
- This is the main service we provide.
- including cardiac, respiratory, renal, neurologic,
skin, immunologic and multiple other systemic
problems. However, we do not provide consultation
for school and behavioural concerns. |
| 2) Shared care for Patients with Complex Medical Problems |
- Including cerebal palsy, congential heart diseases,
Down Syndrome and other genetic disorders,
epilepsy and other problems.
- Patients continue ongoing primary care with their
family doctor, and we assume responsibility for
monitoring and coordinating care of medical
issues which require specialized training, or
additional time not available to most family physicians. |
